GPA Racing continues its dominance at Magny-Cours and strengthens its championship lead
After two highly successful opening rounds at Nogaro and Le Castellet, GPA Racing arrived at Magny-Cours with a clear objective: to maintain its strong momentum and consolidate its leading position across the different Clio Cup Series 2026 championships.
At the Nevers Magny-Cours circuit, the team once again demonstrated the strength and competitiveness of its entire line-up. With victories, podium finishes and strong performances from all its drivers, GPA Racing leaves the third round with valuable points and further confirms its status as one of the leading references in the championship.
Alexandre Finkelstein and Damiano Puccetti remain at the forefront
Championship leader heading into the third round, Alexandre Finkelstein once again delivered a strong performance throughout the weekend. Thanks to his consistency and another race victory, the GPA Racing driver maintains his position at the top of the overall standings with 253 points.
His teammate Damiano Puccetti is also continuing his impressive start to the season. Always among the main contenders at the front of the field, the Italian remains fully involved in the title battle and currently occupies second place in the championship with 240 points. He also retains the lead of the Junior classification, confirming his remarkable consistency since the beginning of the season.
Together, Alexandre Finkelstein and Damiano Puccetti continue to set the pace in the 2026 Clio Cup Series and provide GPA Racing with a strong position heading into the next rounds of the championship.
David Pouget confirms his experience
Reigning champion and a true pillar of the team, David Pouget once again delivered valuable points for GPA Racing.
Still capable of fighting at the front, the French driver now sits fourth in the overall standings with 177 points, remaining firmly within reach of the leading trio ahead of the upcoming rounds.
Nicky Taylor continues his progression
Nicky Taylor continues to showcase the progress made since the beginning of the season. Delivering several strong performances at Magny-Cours, he continues his climb up the championship standings and now sits in an impressive sixth place overall with 140 points.
The British driver also remains second in the Junior classification, highlighting the quality of the young talent development programme established by GPA Racing.
Ben Jenkins continues to gain valuable experience
For his first full season in the Clio Cup Series, Ben Jenkins continues his learning curve in one of the most competitive championships.
At Magny-Cours, the GPA Racing driver once again scored valuable points, allowing him to secure 15th place in the overall standings and seventh position in the Junior classification. These encouraging results highlight his constant improvement throughout the season.
Horn leads the Challengers championship
Another strong satisfaction for GPA Racing comes from Horn’s outstanding campaign in the Challengers category.
Thanks to remarkable consistency since the start of the season, he maintains the lead of the championship with 105 points, further strengthening GPA Racing’s presence at the top of the different Clio Cup Series classifications.
GPA Racing extends its lead in the Teams Championship
Beyond individual performances, it was once again the strength of the collective effort that made the difference at Magny-Cours.
Thanks to the combined results of all its drivers, GPA Racing significantly extends its lead at the top of the Teams Championship with 515 points, almost 200 points ahead of its closest rival, Milan Competition (323 points).
After three rounds, GPA Racing continues to confirm its status as a benchmark team in the 2026 Clio Cup Series. Leading the Drivers’, Junior, Challengers and Teams championships, the team now heads into the next stage of the season with strong momentum and the ambition to continue this impressive run of performances at the upcoming Mugello round.
