Nogaro 2023 - Friday report
7 avr. 2023
A solid first 2023 practice day
Clio Cup
Free Practice 1 : It was only practice today but it feels good to be back on track. Our day began with an early Clio Cup free practice with Alex Finkenstein on top of the list with a 1:42:161. David Pouget was only 0.171 behind to secure P2. First practice session of the year means training : Alex Albouy ended 10th, Delcroix 15th, Rostand 22 and Nevers 24.
Free Practice 2 : Temperature rose in the afternoon but did not change anything to Alex’s speed as he was again the fastest of FP2 with a 1:41:127. Half a second from P2. David struggled to find a good balance on the car but still set third time. Alex Albouy and Cedric Delcroix made big improvements as they respectively went from P10 to P4 and from P15 to P7. Rostand and Nevers set the 22nd and 23rd time. Navillod was P2 in the racer category.
GT4 France
Free Practice 1 : Two cars for us in Nogaro. FP1 was the first time Tom Verdier and Baudouin Detout drove together but the feeling was good. Both were happy with the balance even if a mechanical failure ended our session earlier. They ended P9 in the Pro-Am category.
On the other side of the garage, Florent Grizaud and Kevin Jimenez started their preparation for the European GT4 season. A solid practice day as they set the second time of FP1 in the Am category. Strong start.
