Not what we were aiming for.
Clio Cup :
Q2 : Again, a sunny Sunday here in Spa but things didn’t go in our way. The second qualifying session took place earlier than yesterday but a FCY disturbed the session for 7 minutes. Therefore, drivers didn’t get a lot of attempts. Alexandre Finkenstein managed to top the session with David Pouget right behind.
Sadly, after being reviewed by the stewards both times got canceled for track limits.
In the end, David set the the 17th time and Alexandre Albouy P51. In the Racers cup, Benjamin had a fantastic lap and started race 2 in P4, with Gabriel Alonso P17. Finally, in the Challengers cup, Alexandre Finkenstein started P25 and Mariano Alonso P26.
Race 2 : The start of race 2 got delayed by 20 minutes because of red flags in previous sessions. David Pouget managed to gain two positions at the start and crossed the line in P10. A great recovery. Alex Albouy ended P43. Two SC came out during the 25 minutes race and the first one because Mariano Alonso found the gravel on lap 3.
In the racers cup, Benjamin Cauvas managed to keep P4 and Gabriel Alonso lost one place to finish P18. In the Challengers Cup, Alex Finkensein gained 8 positions during the race.
